About Us
GBI Bethel Church Auckland (BCA)
GBI Bethel Church Auckland is a dynamic Christian community established with a foundational DNA rooted in passionate Praise, Worship, Prayer. We believe these elements are essential for spiritual growth and ministry effectiveness, driving everything we do.
Our journey began humbly with Pastors Teddy Tjahjono and Ps Fifie Tjahjono, alongside their three children, who started the ministry as a dedicated home church fellowship. This intimate and family-centered beginning continues to shape our warm and welcoming culture today.
BCA operates under the spiritual covering of GBI Jl Gatot Subroto, Jakarta, and is guided by the counsel of its Senior Pastor, Ps Niko Njotoraradjo. This affiliation ensures our theological grounding and continuous spiritual development.
Our Mission
Our primary mission is to reach out to and serve the Indonesian diaspora residing in New Zealand, with a special focus on the city of Auckland. We exist to be salt and light in the community where we are planted, actively working to fulfill the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20).
Our Vision
We are committed to making a tangible impact on the lives of Indonesians throughout New Zealand. Our long-term vision is centred on preparing younger generations—equipping them to stand firm in their faith, fostering a deep reverence for God, and inspiring them to live lives marked by God's love.
